Prey (2017) [Review of the game]
The main character is Morgan Yu (a man or woman to choose from), the will of fate we find ourselves at the Talos-1 space station. The station was built by the joint efforts of different countries including the USSR and the USA, and is a “way of mankind to the stars”. As it turns out later, the first contact with a different life form has already taken place and these are typhones. In the manner of “Inquisitive minds” in a manner, they immediately rushed to study new “friends”.
New research gave mankind neuromodes-devices that allow you to change neural connections in the brain so that you can learn to play the violin, find out someone else’s language or become stronger, higher, faster and all this in some 5 minutes. All this led to the Renaissance of mankind and there was only one step to immortality

One sunny morning we are convinced of the dangers of caffeine (a joke for those who saw the prologue), and the typhones break out to freedom … The evacuation has failed and now between the life of mankind and its death (from the tentacles of aggressive aliens) are: our main character and thin walls of the spacecraft, because it is enough for one alien to break out and get to the ground, as they will not stop them, as they will not stop them.

– Gameplay
1) enemies pose a real threat, and you have many options how to deal with them, but there are almost no opportunities to make effective ambushes or combinations of abilities.
2) You get all the weapons in the first third of the game, and then you only engage in its pumping, the damage inflicted on enemies is also poorly felt, except for phantoms and facial expressions, almost no one reacts to it.
3) In the middle of the game, the concentration of various tasks is sharply reduced and the same type of Misses of the Brind and the “beloved” Backtracking, which is complicated by the revival of enemies and by the fact that you need to constantly look for resources (and minirals necessary for crafting) from enemies practically do not fall out).
4) the need to scream meter per meters of the entire location in order to find the materials necessary for craft (and you need to craft much and a lot)
5) various abilities that you get finding neuromodes (if you want to search everything, you can swing a lot to the second half of the game), the abilities are diverse, but to discover the abilities of typhones, they need to be scanned. The range of abilities is a mixture of Deus Ex, Bioshock and Dishonored, but there are also original.
6) various possibilities of moving in levels (and their multi -level), and penetration into closed rooms (ventilation, jumping, mimicry, gypsum of the gun, raising of goods, a firepower or its repair, recycling grenades). Pour the fat man.
7) people have a very strange model of movement around the station and in fact exist only when the player is nearby.
Mr. Robot
Gameplay assessment: 6 points – in some places the bad balance of the enemies and resources of the player; Most of the game is not entertained by new weapons, but only with abilities; hit by enemies do not have the proper effect; thoughtful locations and diversity in choosing an approach to an obstacle on your path (whatever it is).
– Emotional part:
1) the new rustle has an interesting beginning, and an excellent interchange
2) many choice elements have obvious schematicity (but this smooths the ending)
3) at first I plunged into the atmosphere of the study of the dying station and fear, from the fact that the enemy can be everywhere and anything, but the middle is strongly sagging t.There is nothing interesting, but there is a lot of shooting and farm (Hello Fallout 4), which in the game causes a plus plus to this in my opinion the unsuccessful level with a large technically tunnel and a boring dende.
4) the types of space and the station do not fascinate the spirit, but do not leave indifferent – the world of the game is interesting to explore and go into each corner. Pour the fat man.
5) I liked the music in the game, but sometimes it seems to be out of place, and sometimes it is not enough for it, on the contrary. It was written by the Australian composer and sound designer Gordon Mick (Doom, Wolfenstein: The New Order)
6) The plot has its turns and not all of them are guessed immediately, almost all the characters are simple (all this exacerbates poor Russian voice acting).
Evaluation: Initially, I thought to put the plot 6-7, but everything saved the ending, so 8 what is a new PREY
This is a mixture of genres, such as: shooter, RPG, steels action and study of the world+ elements of other genres.
Nothing in common with Prey 2006, Prey 2017 does not have.

“Tolstoy” thread through the whole game is the idea of empathy and moral choice. A peculiar test with Philippa’s trolleys (wrapped in a wrap of a space station and immersive SIM SIM SMO). I will hope that the series will not die and it is this PREY that will decide to continue in the near future. I just like the points at the end of the works, not the ellipsis. If you work on errors, then from the ending of this game you can swing widely and come up with an interesting and exciting plot with interesting mechanics.
